Vinted fees FAQ

Real questions sellers and buyers ask, with 2026 answers.

Do sellers really pay zero fees on Vinted?
Yes. According to Vinted's official pricelist, selling is free in every market: no listing fee and no commission, so the seller keeps 100% of the item price. Vinted makes its money from the buyer-paid fee instead. Optional seller extras such as Item Bump are the only paid seller-side items, and their price is shown at checkout.
Why is the UK buyer fee a range instead of one number?
Vinted's UK help page states the buyer fee as 3%–8% of the item price plus a £0.3–£0.8 fixed fee, but it does not publish the tier rules that decide which percentage a given item falls into. That is why this calculator shows a min–max range: the exact fee is only revealed at checkout.
How is the fee calculated for Pro seller items over £500?
Items listed by Pro sellers at £500 or more are charged a flat 3% buyer fee with no fixed fee. For example, a £600 item carries an £18.00 fee, so the buyer pays £618.00 total.
What changed when "Buyer Protection fee" became "Vinted fee"?
Only the name. In October 2026 Vinted renamed the "Buyer Protection fee" to the "Vinted fee". The calculation — 5% + $0.70 in the US, 3%–8% + £0.3–£0.8 in the UK, 5% + €0.70 in France — is unchanged.
Is Item Bump / Wardrobe Spotlight worth paying for?
Item Bump and Wardrobe Spotlight are optional paid visibility boosts whose official prices are shown at checkout. Third-party sources estimate £0.95–£2.95 for a Bump and £6.95 for 7 days of Wardrobe Spotlight in the UK. Whether the extra views turn into extra sales depends on your item and price — we could not verify any public figures on average uplift, so treat those estimates with caution.
What are Item Verification and Electronics Verification?
Optional UK services the buyer can add: Item Verification costs £10 and Electronics Verification costs £5. They are buyer add-ons, listed on the official pricelist, and do not change the Vinted fee itself.
Does Vinted charge a fee to withdraw my money?
Vinted's official pricelist contains no payout/withdrawal fee entry as of 2 October 2026, so we mark this as unverified and it is not included in any calculation on this page. Check Vinted's current help pages before withdrawing.
