Poshmark fees FAQ

Real questions sellers ask, with 2026 answers.

Is a $15.00 sale charged $2.95 or 20%?
Exactly $15.00 is charged 20% โ€” that's $3.00, not $2.95. The flat $2.95 only applies to sales under $15, so $15.00 falls in the 20% tier. This is the most common mistake sellers make with Poshmark's fee table.
What is the Texas seller fee tax?
Since 1 October 2025, Poshmark charges sellers whose return address is in Texas a tax on the commission: tax = commission ร— 80% ร— (6.25% state rate + your local tax rate). Poshmark's official example: a $100 sale โ†’ $20 commission โ†’ $16 ร— 8.25% = $1.32 tax. Toggle "Texas seller fee tax" in the calculator and enter your local rate (default 2%, for 8.25% combined).
Why can't this calculator estimate Promoted Closet costs?
Promoted Closet is pay-per-click advertising with weekly budgets โ€” your cost depends on how many buyers click, not on the sale price, so there is no fixed rate to plug into a formula. This calculator deliberately leaves it out rather than guessing.
How do Canadian fees differ from US fees?
Same structure, different numbers: in Canada it's a flat C$3.95 on sales under C$20 and 20% on sales of C$20 or more. Note that GST/HST is charged separately and is not included in this calculator. The Texas seller fee tax is US-only.
Is it really free to list on Poshmark?
Yes โ€” Poshmark's official wording is "It's always free to list". There is no insertion or listing fee; you only pay the commission when the item sells.
Are payment processing fees charged separately?
No. Unlike some marketplaces, Poshmark has no separate processing fee โ€” card processing costs are already included in the $2.95 flat fee / 20% commission.
Is there a fee to withdraw my earnings?
Poshmark's official fee policy does not list a specific cash-out fee, so we mark it unverified and do not include any withdrawal fee in the calculation.
